About TastyKhana System
All information shared with TastyKhana (as part of using any of our services) is available only with TastyKhana. TastyKhana does not share individual information of users with the restaurants or any other third party except in cases wherein such information sharing becomes necessary to provide a particular service. For example your details are needed to be shared with the restaurant to complete a reservation or process an order.
This document describes how TastyKhana Website user information is collected, stored, used and, in specific instances, shared with restaurants.
Unregistered & Registered Users:
As and when decided by TastyKhana certain services may or may not require registration. Registration has its own benefits as explained in the why sign-up page. Users of the clearly understand that access to services on TastyKhana is clear discretion of TastyKhana.

TASTYKHANA is wholly committed to protecting the privacy of the young. Our site is not designed to attract children under the age of 12 and TASTYKHANA.COM does not knowingly collect personal information from children on our web sites. It is possible that by fraud or deception we may receive information given to us or pertaining to children under 12. If we are notified of this, as soon as we verify the information, we will immediately delete the information from our servers.

When you order from us, we will share your address and other necessary information (required to deliver the food to your home) with the restaurant. You agree to share such information with the restaurants. We may use aggregated information like how visitors use our Web sites and share such information with third parties in order to improve our Web sites and to help us attract advertisers and listings. For example, we may share how many individuals visited our Web site and, on average how long they stayed on each page. Such use and sharing of aggregated information will not reveal any of your personal information to third parties. For this purpose, we may also provide these third party service providers anonymous information about your site navigation.

If you elect to use our referral service for informing a friend about any of our services/site, we ask you for your friend's name and email address. TASTYKHANA.COM will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting them to visit the TASTYKHANA.COM Site.

TASTYKHANA.COM makes no representations or warranties that any information or content provided herein is accurate, complete, or authentic; and TASTYKHANA.COM shall have no liability whatsoever for information or content provided by third parties. What information is accessible to restaurants:
When you make a restaurant reservation / online order using the TastyKhana Website, your name, telephone number & email address are provided to that restaurant, just as would occur if you were making a reservation over the phone. Restaurants cannot access the TastyKhana databases to access information pertaining to diners or dining histories from other restaurants, with the exception that restaurants under the same corporate ownership may elect to share diner information between restaurant properties.
Email from TastyKhana:
TastyKhana sends automated service messages pertaining to upcoming or recent restaurant reservations, such as confirmations, reminders, online orders for deliver, take-away / advance orders and / or invitations to provide diner feedback. While you cannot unsubscribe from all service messages, you may select not to receive future diner-feedback invitation emails by following the "unsubscribe" instructions provided.
You may unsubscribe from the TastyKhana email list at any time by replying to the marketing communications with "Unsubscribe" in the subject line, or by visiting your Profile page and choosing to opt out from receiving marketing communications.
Email from restaurants:
You may also consent to receive marketing communications from the restaurant at which you've made a reservation/online order. You may unsubscribe from the restaurant’s/TastyKhana email list at any time by intimating us on the same.
Purposes of use of your personal information:
TastyKhana may use your personal information for the following purposes:
- to secure your reservation at the TastyKhana restaurant you've selected, by providing your name and contact phone number to that restaurant,
- to provide you with dining gift certificates and other products and services of the TastyKhana Websites, under applicable terms and conditions
- to provide you with information about the services of the TastyKhana Websites,
- to provide services which Registered Users are entitled to under applicable terms and conditions,
- to produce aggregate statistical data for the improvement of services offered by the TastyKhana Websites,
- to use the aggregate statistical data for promotional purpose,
- to provide you with restaurant recommendations based on your dining history,
- for any other purposes related to those above.
User profile and information update:
Once a Registered User logs on to the TastyKhana Websites, that user can view his or her personal information stored by TastyKhana by clicking on the "View Profile" link at the top of the page. In addition to being able to view your recent TastyKhana reservation history, every user is also able to view and change the following personal information: name, email address, password, phone number, primary dining city, birthday (if it has been provided by the user), address (if it has been provided by the user), special requests that should be forwarded to restaurants when making reservations (if they have been provided by the user), and whether that user would like to receive marketing communications from TastyKhana. The user at any time may contact TastyKhana to request that all personal information be deactivated.
Cookies:
Log-in areas on the TastyKhana Websites require that your browser accept cookies. A cookie is a small amount of information that is sent from a web server to your browser and stored on your computer's hard drive. TastyKhana uses cookies to verify that you are properly signed in, to display information for your primary dining location, and to highlight your pending reservations, for example. TastyKhana may also use cookies from time to time to measure your response to new aspects of the websites and/or emails in an effort to continually improve customer service and website usability.
Please be aware that a cookie cannot spread computer viruses, retrieve any other data from your hard drive, or capture your email address.
