Paprika Hot Rock

The unusual name stems from Paprika, the spice added to cooking in different regions of the world, and Hot Rock, referring to the style of cooking food on pre-heated lava rocks.
The restaurant comprises a spacious indoor air-conditioned lounge and a shamiana covered outdoor dining area. while the indoor section is contemporary style with low sofa seating, brown furniture, black floors,  subdued lighting, a blue light lit bar counter and large screen TV with soft lounge playing on weekdays and commercial hits on weekends, the outdoor section has dark cane furniture on a patterned floor, wispy white curtains, white walls and is filled with natural light by day; it is dramatically different by night lit by accent lights and tea lights with the show kitchen where the food-Mediterranean cuisine with predominantly Lebanese specialities is prepared-coming into focus.
 
The lounge bar menu features a choice of cocktails: which have a Mediterranean twist, one can find everything from fresh fruit Martinis to flavoured Caiprioskas. mocktails, shooters, beers, white spirits, an extensive list of scotches single malts and blended, Cognac, Bourbons, Wines and  Champagne along with a variety of finger foods. The dining menu features appetizers, salads, soups, grill and oven baked, pan-fried, pasta, risotto and paella, pizzas, and the Hot Rock menu. While non-vegetarians and seafood lovers can look forward to delicacies like Lebanese Roast Chicken, Norwegian Salmon and New Zealand Lamb, vegetarians have ample options including Spanish Corn Crepes, Paella Verdures and Spanakos. The highlight of a meal is the hot rock experience wherein neat portions of pre-marinated meats or vegetables are cooked in front of you on your table on the searing hot lava stone-heated to 400ºC placed in a ceramic tray. It’s not just a meal, it’s an experience. To end up the perfect meal we have a well designed selection of delicious and stylishly presented desserts from Tiramisu, to Baklava, Mahalabia and Omali, one can’t resist...
The restaurant takes pride in preparing everything in-house: from the complimentary antipasti of the day to the bread basket. Even the chocolate offered after the meal, each dish is completely prepared in the restaurant’s kitchen. Assistance in capturing the right flavours comes by way of authentic imported seasonings (like boharat, sumac), quality olive oil, a dash of garlic,  a squeeze of lemon and a wood-fired oven ensuring the food tastes fresh and authentic, and persuades the diner to enjoy a relaxed meal.
